Joomla 2.5 Release Changed to January 24th

Quick Update:  Joomla has just released Beta 2 of version 2.5, one day after it’s original anticipated GA (general availability) release date.  This will allow some additional time for bug testing and upgrade testing from version 1.7 to 2.5.  This will also give extension developers a bit of extra time for plugin development and update testing.

Just as a reminder, beta releases are not suitable for production sites.  The GA release date is now going to be January 24th, 2012.
